Podite has released alterPod v0.7.1b for the most daring of iPod users out there. alterPod is a tool that allows you to edit the strings and display graphics in your iPod's firmware as well as performing a firmware backup/restore. At the core of alterPod sits Austin Che's command-line tool ipodedit; alterPod provides an easy-to-use GUI interface for the command line tool. alterPod now includes a String Editor, and an Image Browser.
