iTSync is for users that require an easier method of constantly updating their iTunes library, rearranging how they store their MP3's and storing their songs in multiple directories. iTSync is created to simplify the synchronization of the iTunes library and to give the user the power and convenience to do what they want with their library without the worry of upsetting or misplacing songs.
New features:
Library Synchronization -Fixed compatibility issues with iTunes 5.0 and greater; -A new more user friendly look; -New scanning choices that scan- the basic iTunes Library only directories, all of the iTunes Library directories as well as the child directories, or all of the iTunes Library directories as well as the child directories and the parent directories. This option defaults to all of the iTunes Library directories as well as the child directories; -iTSync now notifies the user when a directory in iTunes does not exist on the local machine; -iTSync will also output the missing directory database to an output file; -Users can now specify the type of output files, either the basic text format or the new easy to read HTML format. This option defaults to the text format; -This help file, which guides the user through all of iTSync's features and functions; -Ability to check for updates and if one exists automatically update iTSync.
Remove Dead Tracks -Improvements in the "Remove Dead Tracks" algorithm; -iTSync will look for all the dead tracks in iTunes and remove them from the library. This is yet another efficient function built into iTSync that gives users the ability to dynamically control their library.
Remove Duplicates -A new feature found only in iTSync version 1.0; -Many users of iTSync found that the duplicate track feature in iTunes version 4.8 was not adequate for their needs. Not only does iTSync find the same tracks but it makes the removal of duplicate tracks a lot easier, a task that was not as simple with the original iTunes.
Tracks without a Playlist -A new feature found only in iTSync version 1.0; -iTSync has the ability to look through all tracks in iTunes and each user-defined playlist to find any tracks that are not allocated to any user defined playlist. iTSync then populates a listbox with all the missing tracks and gives the user the option to output the list of tracks to an html file as well as . This is simply one more power feature that enables users to streamline their iTunes library and playlist to their own particular desire.
