Pixelshop is an application which helps you personalize your desktop by creating icons, mouse cursors or by converting images into desktop icons. You can create still and animated cursors and icons for your favourite applications, folders, files or Web pages.
The program is somehow similar to MS Paint, only you can draw mouse cursors and select formatting and effects for desktop icons. You can create icons in size of maximum 48x48 at a 32 bit (True color + Alpha) colour depth. Among the many effects available, we may mention: nudge, invert colors, smooth, colorize, grayscale, etc. You can also select a favourite image and convert it into an icon. Supported image files: BMP, JPEG, GIF, ICO, PSD. You can zoom in and out any icon and you can preview them with the inbuilt preview option.
Pluses: The good part is that you can change an folder or application icon directly from "Pixelshop".
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: A very easy to use program with a nice interface, in all, a good cursor and icon creation tool.
