Zoner GIF Animator is a very efficient and easy to learn animated GIF creation and editing program. In order to create GIF files, you can import: GIF, JPG, PCD, MAC, PNG, TIF, TGA, BMP, DIB, RLE, ICO, WPG, BMI, and PCX bitmap files, WMF and EMF vectors and FLI, FLIC, and AVI animations. The creation and editing allows you to use a large variety of tools such as: locking of animation borders, fixed count or infinite loop, add comments, redraw methods, custom transparency type and colour, dither frames, trim frames, remove comment blocks or titles. The layout can be aligned, you can set animation vertical or horizontal center and space evenly. You can choose to apply one of the eight IPL filters, generate textures or apply image distortion effects.
Pluses: You can preview the result in the internal viewer or external browser (custom addition of browsers available). The frames can also be edited in an external bitmap editor, e.g. "Paint".
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: A very good GIF animation creation and editing program with a nice and intuitive interface, plenty of features and easy to use.
