Keep an accurate evidence of all your data stored on hard drives, CDs, DVDs, Floppy disks, Netdrives, Zip, Jazz and M.O. drives with InsideCAT. Every disk or partition you index with InsideCAT will be visible in a catalogue. InsideCAT can read files in archives and can even extract files from most common archives. A search option is included. The interface contains shortcut key for Windows Explorer, Winamp, NotePad. You can group catalogues into groups for creating different categories of data. You can export into text files individual catalogues or you can files in a collection of catalogues.
Pluses: A very nice feature is the possibility to export catalogues into text files, which are easy to carry or print, so, in case you want to lend CDs or DVDs, your counterpart doesn't need to install the software in order to visualize the catalogue.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Freeware, complete, with a nice interface and a easy to use application. Just go for it!
