PromoSoft is a program designed to ease up the promotion of software by the producer. I can also be used to promote updates of programs, alpha, beta or media only releases.
One section of the program contains a database containing all the information about your product: general information, additional information, author&company, URL&file, affiliates, registration code, back link. Another section is contains data related to the publishing Websites where you want to publish your products. This section contains logins and passwords, PAD file categories and subcategories, the list of sites and data related to them. One more thing: you need to configure the type of connection you are using in order to publish your products: HTTP, e-mail or FTP.
The program will send generated PAD files to all the Websites on the list and even better, it will retrieve statistics regarding your promoted products' stats. Reports can be exported in HTML format.
Pluses: It automates the promotion process by dramatically improving the speed of sending PAD files.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: A very good software promotion tool which saves you the trouble of manually sending emails or XML files.
